My senior dog kept dehydrating last year. She is raw and cooked fed so we don't see her drinking a lot anyway, not like a kibble fed dog. Research led me to buy the Selene; all three of our dogs love it and they all drink more. Athena hasn't been dehydrated this summer. They will even tell us when it needs refilling—they sit by it and refuse to drink out of their previous favourite ceramic bowl. The filters clearly remove gunk. We have even taken it on holidays with us.

We've had the 4L Selene pet fountain since before Christmas, both our dogs are definitely drinking more water and love it! We love it too, it keeps the bowl and water clean longer and when it's ready to clean you can just throw it in the dishwasher. So much more convenient not putting water down every day.
Love the stainless material
The water fountain for my dogs is GREAT! By looking at the filters when I clean it, I can tell just how fresh the water is my dogs are getting. The filters are filthy and should be! I like that it is stainless steel because it makes clean up a breeze. The motor is so quiet that if water wasn't coming out of the spigot I wouldn't know it was on.
